We are looking for experienced mechanical engineers who have successfully developed complex electromechanical products and guided them through industrialization, manufacturing ramp-up, and product maturity. /p pAs a key member of our humanoid robotics team, you will shape the mechanical architecture of next-generation humanoid robots while ensuring designs meet the demanding requirements of volume production, reliability, serviceability, cost, and quality. /p pThis role is ideal for engineers with extensive experience developing sophisticated mechanical systems in industries such as robotics, automation, automotive, aerospace, medical devices, industrial equipment, or consumer electronics. /p h3bYour mission challenges /b /h3 ul liLead the development and optimization of mechanical systems for humanoid robots from concept through serial production. /li liDesign and improve structures, joints, actuators, gearboxes, housings, and other critical subsystems with a strong focus on manufacturability, robustness, and cost. /li liDrive Design for Manufacturing (DfM), Design for Assembly (DfA), Design for Serviceability (DfS), and Design-to-Cost activities. /li liOwn product industrialization efforts, collaborating closely with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and production engineering teams. /li liDefine and manage mechanical architecture, component specifications, tolerances, and critical interfaces across the robot. /li liConduct structural, fatigue, thermal, tolerance, and reliability analyses to ensure long-term product performance. /li liLead root‑cause analyses and implementation of corrective actions during prototype, validation, and production phases. /li liSupport supplier selection, qualification, and technical reviews with external manufacturing partners. /li liDevelop validation strategies and oversee testing activities to ensure compliance with performance and reliability requirements. /li liMentor junior engineers and help establish engineering best practices across the organization. /li liWork closely with electronics, controls, software, product management, and operations teams to deliver highly integrated robotic systems. /li /ul h3bWhat we can look forward to /b /h3 pbMust‑have: /b /p ul liMaster's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related discipline. /li liTypically 8–15+ years of industry experience developing complex mechanical or mechatronic products. /li liProven track record of bringing products from development into serial production. /li liStrong expertise in mechanical design, machine elements, tolerance engineering, and technical product development. /li liDemonstrated experience with DfM, DfA, industrialization, product cost optimization, and production ramp‑up. /li liExtensive CAD experience (Creo preferred, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, or equivalent). /li liExperience working with manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, sheet metal, die casting, injection molding, composites, and precision assemblies. /li liStrong understanding of structural mechanics, dynamics, fatigue, and reliability engineering. /li liHands‑on experience with prototype development, testing, debugging, and product validation. /li liAbility to drive technical decisions in a multidisciplinary engineering environment. /li liFluent English communication skills; German is a plus. /li /ul pbNice‑to‑have: /b /p ul liExperience developing robotic systems, automation equipment, humanoid robots, exoskeletons, mobile robots, or advanced mechatronic products. /li liExpertise in actuator systems, gearbox design, lightweight structures, and high‑performance mechanical systems. /li liExperience scaling products from prototype to low‑volume and high‑volume production. /li liFamiliarity with supplier management, quality systems, FMEA, risk analysis, and design reviews. /li liExperience leading mechanical engineering teams or major subsystem developments. /li liUnderstanding of reliability growth testing, field failures, and continuous product improvement processes. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
