About The Role
We are building robots from the ground up for the #ag industry.

A lot about this role is deliberately in stealth mode, but in short, you will be working with a very small team to achieve something that has been considered very difficult. We already have some of them live out in the fields, but we want to nail down the autonomy part.
We are planning to have hundreds of rovers scouting commercial production facilities soon, and you will be responsible for full‑stack autonomy: making and owning key decisions that will make this process more and more reliable. Your profile Develop autonomous navigation software for wheeled mobile robots.
Integrate LiDAR, RGB/depth cameras, IMUs, wheel odometry, and GPS (where applicable). Implement SLAM, localization, obstacle detection, and path planning. Design mission planning software for predefined routes and task execution.
Improve robustness in challenging greenhouse conditions such as changing lighting, dense foliage, reflective surfaces, and narrow aisles. Deploy, test, and tune autonomy algorithms on physical robots. Build tools for map generation, route creation, and mission monitoring.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to improve robot performance. Analyze field data and continuously improve navigation reliability. Nice to have Experience wit
