Responsibilities Maintain, manage, and deploy Linux systems in compliance with company standards.

Identify, analyze, and resolve system problems. Maintain the integrity and security of servers and systems. Evaluate and assess server security compliance and employ mitigations. Support all Security and SOX compliance configurations. Plan and direct upgrades of operating systems, patches, and system enhancements.
Set up end user and service accounts. Interact with users and evaluate vendor products. Build and maintain Oracle and Azure Cloud servers. Prepare and maintain documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects. Provide guidance and work leadership to less experienced administrators and end users as required.
Participate in special projects as required. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science plus 5 years of related experience; OR 8+ years of related experience in lieu of Bachelor's. US Person Required. Demonstrated operations experience with Linux platforms (e.g.
RHEL, Oracle Enterprise), including administration, management, performance monitoring and troubleshooting. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, OCI). Experience with patching, repo servers, and maintaining server builds. Experience with backup systems and snapshots.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware/software issues, restore the environment to an operational state with minimal downtime, perform root cause analysis, and provide a forward‑leaning mitigation strategy. Ability to create, maintain, and troubleshoot basic Linux scripts.
Desired technical skills: Oracle, Linux or Redhat certification. Understanding of proactive monitoring concepts. Ability to make recommendations to improve our Linux environment. Experience with VMware virtual environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
