About the Role

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data models, creating insightful reports and dashboards, and providing analytical support to various departments, including operations, exploration, and finance. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources within the mining operations.
• Develop and maintain complex reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Perform statistical analysis and build predictive models to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to understand their data needs and deliver relevant insights.
• Automate data processes and reporting where possible to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Document data processes, methodologies, and findings clearly and concisely.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role, preferably within the mining or resources sector .
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages like Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
• Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning concepts, and data warehousing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
