I'm currently partnering with one of Europe's fastest-growing consumer technology companies to find a Staff Engineer - Data Engineering to join their highly talented Data Engineering team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges while remaining hands‑on. You'll play a key role in shaping a modern AWS-based data platform that powers Analytics, Data Science and AI across the business, while influencing technical direction and mentoring other engineers.
You’ll be a great fit if you have
- 7+ years of commercial Data Engineering experience
- Strong Python and SQL skills
- Extensive experience building cloud-native data platforms on AWS
- Experience designing scalable batch and streaming data pipelines
- Strong understanding of DataOps, CI/CD and production data systems
- Experience making architecture decisions and mentoring engineers
- A product mindset with a proactive, ownership-driven approach
Experience in the following areas would be highly valuable
- AI-powered engineering tools
