Technical knowledge of accounting ERP systems and integrations is an asset, but the ability to build trust with finance and business stakeholders is what sets you apart. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 h3Discovery Solution Selling /h3 ul lipLead discovery sessions with Finance, HR, and IT stakeholders, with a primary focus on understanding finance processes, pain points, and inefficiencies /p /li lipIdentify root causes of issues such as manual reconciliation, lack of control, poor visibility, and compliance risks /p /li lipTranslate customer needs into clear, practical solutions aligned with finance processes and controls /p /li lipBuild a strong business case by connecting product capabilities to measurable outcomes (time saved, improved control, faster close, etc.) /p /li /ul h3Customer Engagement Sales Support /h3 ul lipPartner with Account Executives to drive sales cycles, acting as the functional and solution expert /p /li lipDeliver high-quality demos tailored to the customer’s finance processes, not just generic product walkthroughs /p /li lipPresent to a range of stakeholders, especially Finance personas (Controllers, CFOs), explaining value in their language /p /li lipSupport RFPs, proof of concepts, and workshops where needed /p /li lipGuide customers through how Perk fits into their existing processes and systems /p /li /ul h3Finance Data Flow Expertise /h3 ul lipAct as a trusted advisor on spend management, expense processes, and financial controls /p /li lipUnderstand and explain how expense processes work end-to-end, from capture and approval through to ERP export, postings, cost allocation, reconciliation, and compliance (including tax/VAT and auditability) /p /li lipEnsure proposed solutions align with how finance teams need data to be structured and processed in their accounting systems /p /li /ul h3Integration System Understanding /h3 ul lipUnderstand how Perk integrates with ERP, HR, and payroll systems /p /li lipExplain how transactional data (expenses, invoices, card spend) flows from Perk into ERP Accounting systems /p /li lipConfidently discuss integration approaches at a practical level, including APIs and file-based exports /p /li lipWork with more technical team members when deeper architectural discussions are required /p /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 ul lip5–7 years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Pre‑Sales, Sales Engineering, or a similar customer‑facing role in SaaS, or experience in finance, accounting, or consulting with strong exposure to systems and customer interaction /p /li lipStrong understanding of finance and accounting processes, with experience working with or alongside finance teams (e.g. accounting, controlling, payroll, AP/AR) /p /li lipProven ability to run discovery, deliver demos, and lead solution discussions with customers /p /li lipStrong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and build trust quickly /p /li lipFamiliarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics, and the ability to explain how financial data flows between systems /p /li lipUnderstanding of how integrations support finance processes, including master data and transactional data flows /p /li lipA consultative, curious, and customer‑focused mindset /p /li lipStrong problem‑solving ability with a focus on improving processes and delivering business impact /p /li lipComfortable operating in a fast‑paced, evolving environment /p /li lipFluency in English and German is required; Sitting at the intersection of Sales, Finance, and Operations, you will take ownership of complex deals, consulting directly with prospective customers to deeply understand their financial processes, organisational structures, and business objectives. /p pThis role is for an experienced professional who combines strong financial acumen with a natural ability to sell.
