Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including systems engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and project managers, to define and refine project requirements. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain software applications with moderate complexity using programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
Optimize software performance and scalability through advanced problem‑solving and technical expertise. Develop and execute test plans to validate software functionality and performance. Identify and resolve software defects, ensuring systems meet operational requirements.
Collaborate with Program and Project Managers to ensure successful delivery of technical solutions. Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project requirements. Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system designs, workflows, and test plans.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Solid understanding of software development life cycles, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently on moderately complex assignments. Experience with software development tools such as Git, Visual Studio, or Eclipse. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices. Knowledge of DoD software development standards, cybersecurity principles, or secure coding practices.
