Update connection strings, credentials, and database access configurations. Perform application testing, debugging, and performance optimization throughout migration efforts.
Requirements 5+ years of full-stack .NET development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with: C# and .NET application development ADO.NET / System.Data.SqlClient and Npgsql Entity Framework (EF6 and EF Core) Dapper and data access layer development SQL Server and PostgreSQL database integration Refactoring embedded and inline SQL within application code Experience migrating or converting: SQL Server-based applications to PostgreSQL Connection strings, credentials, and database access layers T-SQL queries to PostgreSQL-compatible syntax Strong understanding of application-to-database interactions, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
