Das ist der Job
Streamline the red tape.
Darum lohnt es sich
You will design the core software engines that determine optimal camera locations, automate complex permitting workflows across thousands of jurisdictions, and build a unified dashboard for our customers and deployment teams.
Requirements Love writing code and continue learning to do it better Motivated by taking an unknown problem, sinking your teeth in, and coming up with a plan of attack Desire to grow your role and directly influence the growth of a young company Excited about working on a fast-paced, constantly evolving product Versed with Typescript (Node) as web services in addition to general API design Confident in a modern web framework (React, Vue, Angular, etc).
Responsibilities As the number of cities and private communities adopting Flock Safety’s ecosystem grows, deploying our hardware efficiently is our biggest engineering challenge. We are building a comprehensive fleet and planning management platform that bridges the gap between urban planning, legal compliance, and hardware deployment.
Build the geospatial tools and algorithms that map out the most effective and safe locations for our cameras, drones, and safety devices. You will build software integrations that automate permitting submissions, tracking, and approvals with varied utility companies and municipalities.
Design a 'single pane of glass' interface that gives our customers total visibility into their device installation progress and fleet health. You will work at the intersection of mapping, civic tech, and user experience, seeing the physical impact of your software deployed in the real world!
We leverage React with Typescript Familiar with various data stores and know how to interact with them. Confident in SQL Deep understanding of Docker and how to run locally and deploy remotely via Helm to Kubernetes Strong working knowledge of AWS and have used some managed services like S3, API Gateway, SQS, etc.
Familiar with AI-assisted engineering practices, including the strategic, concurrent use of multiple AI agents (Claude, Copilot, Codex) to optimize development velocity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
