Responsibilities Design and ship LLM-powered product features end to end Pair with product-vertical engineers to unblock AI feature work Turn repeated AI implementation work into reusable tools, examples, documentation, and lightweight practices Build and extend evaluation discipline for quality measuring and regression catching Improve observability for AI workflows Harden AI features for production reliability Handle PHI and sensitive resident data with care Partner with product managers to translate clinical workflows into AI capabilities Help non-engineers experiment safely with real data Qualifications 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software Strong in production TypeScript, including typed Node services, testing, APIs, and clean data modeling Hands-on applied-LLM experience: prompt design, structured output, tool or agent design, and practical reasoning about xayajpt cost, latency, hallucination, and reliability tradeoffs Ability to explain code functionality Comfortable working with sensitive data Clear communication skills with PMs, clinicians, operators, and engineers High agency and low ego, capable of shaping ambiguous problems
