We are looking for a Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager who takes a leading role in the team managing key supervisory processes and projects in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders, including senior management.

In your role you will also analyze regulatory developments affecting Swiss Re’s business and represent Swiss Re’s interests towards regulatory expert groups and industry associations. /p h3Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities Will Include /h3 ul liManage the relationship with FINMA together with the team and assume responsibility for supervisory requests, filings and regulatory reports. /li liLead or contribute to ad‑hoc interdisciplinary teams related to projects, transactions and situations with a supervisory dimension. /li liLead the preparation of regulatory interactions such as the FINMA Supervisory College meetings, FINMA on‑site inspections, regular senior level meetings, and ad‑hoc exchanges. /li liContribute to and coordinate data calls, field testing exercises, or consultations. /li liIdentify, assess and monitor key regulatory developments and risks.

The team also manages risks arising from changes to existing or new regulatory and supervisory requirements that could materially affect Swiss Re. /p h3About You /h3 ul liSolid understanding of the re‑insurance regulatory framework and supervisory practice in Switzerland and/or another relevant jurisdiction. /li liProven track record in the (re)insurance industry or relevant authorities with touch points in Supervision, Regulatory, Risk Management, Finance, Legal, Compliance, or Treasury/Capital Management. /li liA master’s degree in either Law, Actuarial Sciences, Natural Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, Political Science or another relevant field. /li liExcellent analytical skills, as well as a proven understanding of the foundations of (re)insurance and the prerequisites required for it to fulfil its role in society. /li liAbility to summarise complex issues into concise memos/presentations. /li liAbility to present and communicate well orally and in writing in both German and English. /li liStrong interpersonal skills with experience in dealing with external stakeholders and top management. /li liStrong team player, willing to share knowledge and information and who naturally brings individuals together as needed, from across countries and functions. /li liStrong organisational and project management skills. /li /ul h3Salary /h3 pFor Switzerland, the base salary range for this position is between CHF 128,000 and CHF 192,000 for a full‑time role. /p pThe specific salary offered considers the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, and the applicant’s own profile including education, expertise, specialization, skills and experience. /p pIn addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance‑based annual bonus. /p h3EEO Statement /h3 pOur success depends on our ability to build an inclusive culture encouraging fresh perspectives and innovative thinking.
