This position leads the day‑to‑day execution of multiple technical projects across BWROG committees, including scope development, proposal and budget estimation, risk and schedule management, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of high‑value industry products.
This is a highly collaborative, customer‑facing role requiring daily interaction with BWROG utility members, committee chairs, technical subject matter experts, GVH engineering organizations, regulators, and industry partners.
The PM serves as the primary coordinator for multiple BWROG committees, facilitating meetings, workshops, and industry initiatives while aligning stakeholders around shared objectives.
Success in this role requires strong relationship‑building skills, the ability to influence outcomes, and a passion for helping the nuclear industry collaboratively solve common challenges.
Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Engage daily with customers (BWROG members) to understand fleet needs, identify emerging issues, and shape project scope aligned with industry priorities. Develop and manage detailed budgets and schedules with strong discipline in estimating, tracking, and early risk identification.
Support committee chairs in planning and executing committee activities, including agenda development, action item management, decision documentation, and long-term strategic planning. Apply Lean and continuous improvement principles to strengthen internal processes, documentation quality, governance, and stakeholder communication.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline (Engineering preferred). Minimum 10 years of experience in the nuclear energy industry, including at least 5 years at a commercial nuclear power plant in operations, engineering, maintenance, licensing, or similar roles.
Strong communication, facilitation, and customer-relationship skills with the ability to engage both technical SMEs and utility executives. If not already PMP certified, willingness and ability to obtain certification within 8 months.
Desired Characteristics Deep technical understanding of BWR systems, operations, programs, maintenance, and licensing, typically demonstrated through 10 or more years at an operating BWR. PMP certification. Experience participating in nuclear industry working groups such as BWROG, PWROG, NEI, INPO, EPRI, or other industry groups.
Experience leveraging AI, automation, or digital tools to improve efficiency and business processes. Familiarity with GVH nuclear products, engineering processes, and customer landscape. Excellent facilitation and communication skills with the ability to build alignment across technical and executive stakeholders.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with discipline in budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
