Requirements Law degree (LLB or equivalent) qualified in Austria or another EU jurisdiction 5 to 9 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in payments, fintech, crypto, or financial services Strong knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks (e.g.

PSD2, DORA, E-Money Directive, MiCA, AMLD) Experience working in-house or advising regulated financial institutions, EMIs, or crypto firms Familiarity with Austrian regulatory expectations and the FMA is highly desirable Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment Regulatory & Legal Advisory Provide legal advice on applicable laws and regulations, including payments services, e-money, and crypto-assets Interpret and apply EU and Austrian regulatory frameworks (e.g.
