Responsibilities End-to-end responsibility for the design and smooth operation of container platforms, including the design and further development of highly available, scalable, and secure Kubernetes clusters in an on-premises environment Selection, evaluation, and integration of CNCF technologies for the on-site data center Design of complex container networks and implementation of zero-trust concepts, Network Policies, and Pod Security Standards Establishment of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/Ansible and implementation of GitOps workflows for fully automated provisioning of clusters and workloads Design of monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions, as well as definition and monitoring of SLOs/SLIs Technical advisory for development teams during the migration of applications to the on-premises cloud, including technical leadership and coaching Requirements Several years of solid experience as a Cloud Architect, Platform Engineer, or Senior DevOps Engineer, ideally with a focus on building data center or on-premises infrastructures Excellent knowledge of Kubernetes architecture (Control Plane, etcd, Kubelet) Certifications such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or CKS (Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist) are a strong plus Deep understanding of Linux operating systems, virtualization, and ideally bare-metal provisioning Strong knowledge of traditional and containerized networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, VXLAN) and experience with block- and file-based on-prem storage Confident working with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), IaC (Terraform, Ansible), and container runtimes (containerd, CRI‑O) Analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills for complex infrastructure incidents, and excellent communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
