Responsibilities As an Electrical Engineer for Grid Connection and Protection (m/f/d) you are responsible for the entire grid connection work package — from technical feasibility to commissioning. Prepare grid connection applications and submit technical data packages. Manage and respond to technical queries from grid operators.
Plan and take responsibility for compliance verification according to VDE-AR-N 4105 and VDE-AR-N 4110. Define single-line diagrams, protection schemes, CT specifications and remote telemetry/telecontrol systems. Coordinate external partners for protection tests such as FAT and SAT.
Maintain schedules for grid milestones and manage dependencies and risks. Consolidate approvals, test reports and certificates up to commissioning. Further develop standards, templates and grid connection processes.
Qualifications Degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification (e.g., Meister or certified technician) Several years of experience with grid connection of power plants, ideally battery storage or renewable energy systems Solid knowledge of protection engineering, relevant standards and grid operator processes Confident in reading and creating single-line diagrams and technical specifications Experience with certification and testing processes, including FAT and SAT Clear and professional communication with grid operators and authorities; German at least C1 level #J-18808-Ljbffr
