With a flexible work environment, you’ll have the opportunity to balance independent tasks with teamwork, both in the office and remotely.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and maintain control software in C++ for Linux-based embedded systems, ensuring reliable operation of wind turbines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive software testing, including unit, integration, and acceptance tests, employing strong CI/CD practices and AI-assisted programming.
- Refactor and enhance existing code to maintain fleet performance and participate in innovation initiatives such as code camps and ideation events.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by following agile development principles within a SCRUM and SAFe environment.
What You Bring
- Academic degree in IT, Software, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, combined with 5+ years of experience in C/C++ software development.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming, software testing, continuous integration, embedded control mechanisms, and middleware development for Linux-based x86 and ARM platforms, including Linux system hardening for cyber-security.
- A keen interest in control of mechanical areas such as aerodynamics, mechanics, hydraulics, and power electronics, with a passion for integrating hardware and software into safe, high-quality solutions.
- Experience working with real-time protocols (e.g., ProfiNet), version control systems (Git), task management tools (Jira), and agile development methodologies such as SCRUM and SAFe.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, combined with a structured and proactive approach, an ownership mindset, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions in the renewable energy sector.
