Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of highly scalable, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure services.
• Architect robust microservices and distributed systems using modern cloud-native technologies.
• Mentor and guide a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
• Define and implement best practices for coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with product managers, SREs, and other engineering teams to define system requirements and roadmaps.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and technical debt.
• Drive innovation by exploring and integrating new technologies and architectural patterns.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of the cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural planning sessions.
• Contribute to the on-call rotation for critical production systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior technical role.
• Extensive experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems and microservices.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, Java, C++).
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform), and monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire a technical team in a remote setting.
• Experience with large-scale data processing and storage solutions is a plus.
• Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office.
