Role: Sr Windchill Solution Architect
Bill Cost range: 65-78 Euro/hr
Pay rate: 55-65 Euro/hr
Location: Friedrichshafen, Germany
Position Type: This is a remote role with minimal travel (1–2 visits/Month) to the client location as required.
Must be a German Speaker
Senior Windchill Solution Architect Experience Level: T4 (10–15 Years)
Role Summary The Senior Solution Architect will define the enterprise architecture for the PLM platform and ensure that engineering data, workflows, and integrations are implemented in a scalable and sustainable manner.
Key Responsibilities • Define overall PLM solution architecture supporting multiple business divisions. • Design scalable system architecture supporting multiple organizational environments within the PLM platform. • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and data governance guidelines. • Guide system configuration decisions including product structures, lifecycle states, and access models. • Review solution designs to ensure maximum use of standard platform capabilities. • Support performance optimization and system scalability planning. • Define integration strategies between PLM, enterprise resource planning, and manufacturing systems. • Support architectural decision reviews for major system changes. • Collaborate with business process leaders to ensure system capabilities support operational requirements. • Provide technical leadership to implementation and
configuration teams.
Required Skills & Experience • Deep experience designing enterprise PLM architectures using modern PLM platforms. • Strong understanding of product data management, bill-of-materials management, and engineering workflows. • Experience integrating PLM systems with enterprise resource planning and manufacturing systems. • Ability to balance system standardization with business flexibility. • Experience leading solution architecture in large global implementations.
Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. • Extensive experience with enterprise PLM implementations. • Industry experience in manufacturing or automotive engineering environments.
