Responsibilities Deliver best‑in‑class HTML5/CSS2.1/3, jQuery, Ajax front‑end code across a broad array of interactive web and mobile projects Collaborate with team members, information architects, designers and business analysts to develop and deliver the best products to our clients and to the market Adhere to and extrapolate complex design systems and apply them to coded pages, screens and states Possess advanced knowledge of web and mobile UX/UI Develop and test across multiple browsers, platforms and devices, including smartphones and tablets Write high quality and readable code Develop and deploy new features and bug fixes on time Write tests (unit, integration and end‑to‑end) Integrate APIs Perform code review Participate in sprint meetings when they are relevant Qualifications Extended knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, VueJS and/or React (and their libraries) Good knowledge of testing tools (e.g., Mocha/Chai, Jest, Cypress) Experience consuming or interfacing with APIs, including error handling, authentication and authorization Team‑leadership experience is a plus Extended knowledge of web technologies, CSS, HTML and CSS preprocessors (SCSS/LESS) Solid grasp of SOLID principles and DRY Experience in setting up and developing SPA and PWA applications Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with ESLint and Prettier Advanced understanding of front‑end development technologies: HTML5, CSS2.1/3, jQuery + plugins, Photoshop/Illustrator Demonstrable experience with responsive web design and targeted mobile web development Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) Strong command of Chrome DevTools or Firebug Comfortable working with PHP templates, various IDEs, third‑party API integration and CMS platforms Good understanding of front‑end concepts such as progressive enhancement vs. graceful degradation, accessibility, browser inconsistencies, and support for CSS properties Experience with Plain jQuery and Other JS Libraries Proficient with preprocessors such as Sass and LESS Experience with OOP pattern development Understanding of SEO best practices Bonus Points Webpack Docker AWS Good Linux or UNIX‑like OS knowledge Understanding of the TDD approach Benefits Reimbursement for classes and conferences (personal/educational development days per year) Company‑provided MacBook Pro Flexible work schedule Work from home Private health insurance Company‑sponsored training English language classes Company‑paid accommodation for runaways Fully remote location Contractor offer type #J-18808-Ljbffr We design and develop cloud-based applications and scalable, performant micro‑services that often integrate with APIs.
