Key Responsibilities

• Lead the integration of sustainable design principles and strategies into all project phases.

• Champion the achievement of green building certifications (e.g., LEED AP, Green Star SA).
• Collaborate remotely with design teams, consultants, and clients to achieve sustainability goals.
• Research and recommend innovative sustainable materials, technologies, and construction methods.
• Conduct life cycle assessments (LCAs) and embodied carbon analyses.
• Develop sustainable design guidelines and best practices for the firm.
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship on sustainability issues to project teams.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation related to sustainable design performance.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and research in sustainable architecture and climate action.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Architecture or a related field with a specialization in Sustainability.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural design, with a strong focus on sustainable and green building practices.
• Accreditation as a LEED AP, GBCSA Green Star SA Accredited Professional, or equivalent is essential.
• Proficiency in sustainable design analysis tools (e.g., EnergyPlus, IES VE) and BIM software (Revit).
• Deep understanding of climate-responsive design, passive strategies, and renewable energy systems.
• Demonstrated experience in leading the sustainability aspects of complex projects.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills for remote engagement.
