On is looking for a 3D Design Modeller to support our product design teams from early ideation phase to final design review. Act as a digital champion - stay ahead of digital trends, mentor design teams, and continuously optimize 3D pipelines.
Your vision and expertise as a technical artist will empower designers, accelerate decisions, and shape the evolution of our performance-driven products. Your Mission Leverage 3D Design during exploration and ideation to support creative direction and bring the vision to life.
Produce high-fidelity renders and 3D prints to enhance design review meetings. Prepare clean, optimized, and watertight 3D files for digital simulation and prototyping. Translate input from design and engineering into actionable assets, partnering with designers to streamline the tech packing process.
Iterate fast, learn faster, and contribute ideas that improve both product quality and digital workflows. Your story You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Footwear Technology, or a related field (equivalent hands‑on industry experience is also highly valued).
You bring 5+ years of experience in footwear 3D footwear modelling. You possess mastery in industry-standard footwear 3D tools - with deep expertise in Rhino 3D (including Grasshopper) alongside Blender (or equivalent). You have strong poly modeling, subD and nurbs fundamentals and can quickly translate design ideas into refined 3D design models.
You have a deep understanding of footwear construction and mold making. You exhibit exceptional spatial awareness, geometric problem‑solving skills, and a keen eye for subtle curves, textures, and proportions.
You possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and deliver accurate files under critical timelines and deadlines. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. On is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
