Job Overview Join our teams building and enhancing Solactive’s real‑time indexing platform, which calculates and manages tens of thousands of financial indices and portfolios for clients around the world.

As part of our Adapt team, you will develop highly performant, scalable, and extensible financial algorithms in close collaboration with our business‑focused teams.

Your Profile Strong Engineering Experience : You bring several years of hands‑on software engineering experience, ideally in a financial environment, with strong expertise in Java and modern software engineering practices such as design patterns and domain‑driven design.

Company Description Solactive AG is a FinTech company operating globally and growing at a fast pace. Since 2007, we develop tailor‑made and multi‑asset class index solutions for ETFs and other index‑linked investment products for the leading global investment banks and asset managers as our clients.

Together, you will enable the automated adaptation of Solactive’s financial indices and help evolve a platform at the core of our global indexing business. Your Tasks Implement efficient algorithms for real‑time calculations and automated adjustments of financial indices in various asset classes.

This includes shaping technical direction, designing scalable solutions, planning implementation, and contributing through hands‑on engineering work. Collaborate closely with other engineering groups to bring our platform to the next level.

Interest in Financial Indexing : You have a strong interest in financial markets, market events, and financial modelling, for example in areas such as portfolio management, derivative pricing, or risk management.

Analytical and Problem‑Solving Mindset : You enjoy breaking down complex technical challenges with clarity and creativity, turning them into robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
