ph3ML-based Mechanical Simulation /h3 pTo further improve the efficiency of computationally demanding assembly simulations, we are developing machine-learning-based (ML) methods to accelerate computationally intensive mechanical simulations. To support this development, we are looking for a software engineer with a solid background in numerical simulation, computational geometry, and machine learning in mechanics.

This is a hands‑on engineering role at the intersection of finite element (FE) simulation, ML-based modeling, and production-quality software engineering. /p h3Your tasks /h3 pAs a (Senior) Software Engineer – ML-based Mechanical Simulation, you will: /p ul liExtend and automate synthetic training and validation datasets /li liOptimize ML-models with respect to accuracy, robustness, generalization capability, and inference cost /li liIntegrate ML inference into FE solver towards production-ready industrial software solution /li liWork closely with experts in BiW, simulation technology, software engineering and machine learning in an agile SCRUM-based setup /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 pWe’re looking for someone with the following background and mindset: /p ul liDegree or doctorate in computer science, engineering, computational mechanics, applied mathematics, physics, or a related natural
