Senior Software Engineer – Fullstack with Backend Focus (m/f/d) Employment level: 100%, hybrid working model We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong backend expertise and solid fullstack experience to join AlpineAI.

In this role, you will build customer integrations and further develop our secure AI platform so that it scales reliably for future customer needs in regulated environments. Key Responsibilities Customer Integrations Design, implement, and maintain customer-specific integrations with AlpineAI’s platform and product ecosystem.

Translate customer requirements into robust technical solutions, APIs, workflows, and backend services. Ensure integrations are secure, maintainable, well-documented, and aligned with customer-specific compliance requirements.

Build and improve backend services, APIs, data flows, and application logic so the platform scales for future use cases, customers, and operational requirements.

Contribute to AlpineAI’s microservices architecture, keeping services intentionally small and focused, and design service boundaries, data contracts, and integration patterns that support long-term maintainability. Contribute to frontend features where needed, particularly in React and Vite-based applications.

Support deployment, monitoring, and operation of SaaS services in production, and improve system reliability, observability, testability, and developer experience across the stack. Engineering Quality, Ownership Swiss German is an advantage.

Clear communication, strong collaboration skills, and willingness to engage in technical sparring and code reviews. You do not have work permission for Switzerland. You are looking for a narrow frontend-only or backend-only role and do not want to work across the stack when needed.
