Job Responsibilities The Financial Engineering team is responsible for designing, building and operating mission‑critical financial workflows—such as Asset Tokenization, Collateral Management, Credentials and more—on the Canton Network.

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Financial Engineering team, you will have the unique opportunity to architect and implement innovative distributed financial solutions, as well as operate production‑grade, mission‑critical systems for our clients.

You will work across the full technology stack while collaborating closely with product teams to influence the evolution of our platform. Bring your technical depth: Use your experience in engineering, architecture and production systems to help the team make smart, scalable decisions.

Strong communicator: You can explain complex ideas clearly— in code, in writing, and in conversation.

Experience writing technical documentation is a bonus. Financial prowess: Familiarity with financial markets or related systems is a bonus, but not required—we value an eagerness to learn just as much as prior domain knowledge. Hybrid role based in Switzerland, the UK, Hungary or Hong Kong.

Your work will encompass diverse and challenging areas such as solution design, financial modeling and large‑scale distributed system development. Build and ship great software: Contribute hands‑on across our Scala / TypeScript / Daml codebases—writing clean, reliable and maintainable code that moves our product forward.
