This is a hands-on, in-the-deals role at a deep-tech company.

The team is growing, so this is also a chance to shape what the AIRMO commercial function becomes. Commercial process : build a repeatable, documented sales motion, including CRM discipline, qualification and forecasting, that the team can run and scale.

Team building : grow the commercial team over time by defining roles, hiring, onboarding and managing sales and BD people as the function expands. Leadership contribution : as part of the leadership team, feed commercial insight into product direction, pricing and company strategy. Team & Reporting You report directly to the CEO.

As it grows, sales and BD hires report to you, and the team expands under your leadership. You coordinate closely with Country leads, product and technical teams but own the commercial outcome across them.

Experience selling to industrial, energy or regulated markets (oil & gas, utilities, industrial infrastructure, ESG / environmental compliance, or similar) Proven ability to own a pipeline end to end: outreach, qualification, technical discovery, proposal, negotiation, close CRM discipline and confidence running a pipeline Comfortable operating at C-level and technical-buyer levels in the same deal Fluent English, good German Nice to have Experience in deep tech, remote sensing, satellite data or hardware-enabled services Familiarity with methane regulation (EU Methane Regulation, OGMP 2.0) or broader emissions / ESG data markets German or a MENA / Central Asian language Prior experience building a sales function from small-team to scaled Mindset Comfortable with ambiguity and with writing the playbook as the company grows Direct, honest, unafraid of hard conversations with customers or internally About us AIRMO is a European climate-tech company using space and airborne technologies to monitor greenhouse gas emissions globally.

Your mission At AIRMO, we're building the measurement stack across satellite, airborne, drone and ground systems that will make methane emissions visible, verifiable and comparable across the world's energy assets.

We've closed our seed round, our first satellite launches in 2027, and we're already delivering methane monitoring for tier-one operators across Europe, MENA and Central Asia.

Role The Senior Sales Manager owns the sales pipeline end to end: opening doors, running discovery, building proposals and closing deals, while helping shape product and company direction as part of the leadership group.

The market is regulated, the technology is differentiated, and the mission is clear: help bend the curve on the fastest-acting greenhouse gas by giving industry and regulators data they can trust.

Responsibilities Pipeline and closing : own the sales cycle across AIRMO's offerings (site assessment, Global Insights, satellite/airborne services), from outreach, discovery and proposals through negotiation and close. You are in the deals, not directing from the side.

Revenue ownership : accountable for the commercial number, including pipeline conversion, signed contracts and revenue against target. You are the key member of the commercial function. Marketing and customer success move under your remit as the function matures toward the CCO scope.

Your profile Must have 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a track record of closing enterprise deals. This is a hands-on closer role, not a strategy role. Our instruments — combining LiDAR and hyperspectral imaging — detect and quantify methane and CO₂ emissions from industrial sites, pipelines, and national infrastructure.

We’re building a global monitoring system from ground to space , helping energy companies, governments, and investors take real action on climate impact.
