Your mission is to ensure reliable, secure, and robust radio communication by working hands‑on with hardware systems, vendors, and program teams from architecture definition through integration, testing, and deployment.
Responsibilities Own RF / data link system architecture, selection, and integration across programs Act as technical interface to radio and data link manufacturers Define and validate system requirements, trade‑offs, and performance targets Ensure robust operation with respect to range, latency, redundancy, and RF environment constraints Support integration, flight test, and operational deployment activities Drive cross‑program consistency and reuse of RF / data link solutions Contribute to documentation, certification readiness, and technical decision‑making Depending on seniority: provide technical leadership or mentoring within the team Qualifications Strong experience in RF communications and data link systems Proven track record integrating radio systems into complex aerospace or defense platforms Solid understanding of RF fundamentals (antennas, propagation, interference, link budgets) Hands‑on experience working with external vendors and system suppliers System‑level mindset with the ability to operate independently in a senior role Nice to have Experience with UAS / CUAS / missile or mission‑critical systems Exposure to contested or EW‑relevant RF environments Prior team lead or technical mentoring experience Familiarity with flight test or system validation environments Seniority level Associate Employment type Full‑time Industries Defense and Space, Manufacturing and Aviation, Aerospace Component Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr Senior RF / Data Link Systems Engineer - All Genders Join to apply for the Senior RF / Data Link Systems Engineer - All Genders role at STARK.
