Senior Remote Insurance Product Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and strategic Senior Remote Insurance Product Manager to spearhead the development and lifecycle management of cutting-edge insurance products. This fully remote role requires a deep understanding of the insurance market, customer needs, and regulatory landscapes across South Africa . You will be responsible for defining product vision, strategy, and roadmaps, working closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, underwriting, and technology to bring successful products to market. Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of insurance products.

• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify new product opportunities.

• Translate market needs and business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories.

• Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing optimization.

• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product launches.

• Monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, and iterate on products to enhance value and profitability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.

• Demonstrated success in launching and managing new products from conception to market.

• Strong understanding of insurance products, market dynamics, and regulatory environments in South Africa .

• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills for remote collaboration.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
