You will foster strong relationships with key customers, utilizing their feedback to drive continuous improvement in the mechanical design platform. You need to conduct in-depth risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts on mechanical design platform project timelines and budgets.

You will oversee testing and debugging processes to guarantee software quality, utilizing advanced tools to identify and resolve defects effectively. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background You hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field. 5-10 years of experience in design engineering with a proven track record of leading design projects. Or a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development within the transformer industry or a comparable technical field.

Solid knowledge of Creo modelling (Pro/Program, Sheet-Metal, Family table, Interchange, Relation, Skeleton, Assembly) Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, VB, C+ or C++, with extensive experience in leveraging software development frameworks to deliver complex solutions.

Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the capability to perform comprehensive risk analysis. Ability to bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the design process. Willingness to travel and ability to interact with colleagues in different time zones, as position is Global.
