Your Role At Siegfried we are currently looking for a Senior Purchasing Manager to join our procurement team in our site based in Minden. Supplier management: establishing and maintaining long‑term relationships with national and international suppliers; negotiating terms and contracts.

Strong negotiation skills and experience working with international suppliers. A team‑oriented approach, strong communication skills and the ability to assert oneself.

Responsibilities Purchasing and procurement: responsibility for the strategic and operational purchasing of raw materials and supplies, particularly in the Solvents and Commodities division.

Category management: developing and implementing a sustainable purchasing strategy for the Solvents & Commodities division, analysing market trends and identifying opportunities for cost reduction. Market analysis: regularly analysing global procurement markets, identifying risks and opportunities, and formulating recommendations for action.

At least 5 years of professional experience in raw materials procurement, ideally in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry. Native German, professional written and spoken English; knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage. An analytical mindset and the ability to quickly grasp and assess complex interrelationships.
