You will become part of a motivated and open-minded team of eleven underwriters and actuaries and will be responsible for a book of European property treaty business with focus on the DACH region.
Category: Life Actuarial Type: Permanent Key Duties (Including but not limited to): Pricing, modelling and risk assessment of new and existing treaty business Initiating and taking part in projects aimed at improving technical insights (pricing, modelling, benchmarking) and operational standards Ensuring documentation and traceability of the Underwriting process and portfolio being correctly reflected in accounting and claims systems University degree or equivalent higher education in relevant field. 8+ years of relevant professional work experience from the reinsurance/insurance sector; experience from the DACH market a strong plus Excellent command of English and German, additional language considered a plus Deep knowledge about Natural Catastrophe modelling considered a strong plus Strong team player with highly-developed analytical skills and ability to learn quickly.
