Responsibilities Management of projects related to seakeeping, maneuvering Overall project lead of test campaigns for clients and research projects Effective steering of cross‑functional project teams Planning, coordination and procuring of resources Monitoring of progress and budget, risk analysis Driving of internal developments Communication with stakeholders (clients, external parties, Management) Scientific and technical responsibility for the overall project goals Reporting and presentation of results Consulting services for customers Acquisition and preparation of quotations Representation of HSVA in working groups, committees as well as on symposia, conferences and exhibitions Requirements Proven track record as overall manager of technical projects in a relevant industrial field At least second level university degree (MSc, PhD), preferably with knowledge of seakeeping, manoeuvring phenomena, measuring techniques, fluid mechanics, naval architecture, marine engineering or comparable fields Motivated to take responsibilities Good self‑organisation and organisation skills Confident appearance to represent company interests Team player and strong communicator Hands‑on mentality and result orientation Self‑motivated lifelong learner Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with experimental facilities, including flexible working times Willingness to occasionally travel worldwide to customers Excellent verbal and written English language skills Preferably German language skills or willingness to learn German Exciting and diversified tasks within a modern service provider for the global maritime industry Innovative team Holiday Pay, Christmas bonus and performance‑based special compensation 30 days of annual leave plus 3 additional special leave days based on a five‑day workweek Full‑time position with a 38‑hour workweek Contribution for the Deutschlandticket, capital‑forming benefits and company pension scheme contributions Free parking spaces on company premises Contact We look forward to receiving your expressive application including your salary expectations as well as your earliest possible starting date by e‑mail to: #J-18808-Ljbffr Located in Hamburg, the private and independent Hamburg Ship Model Basin - HSVA - is a service and consulting company for clients in the maritime industry worldwide.
