ppYou will play a key role within a medical device product development team in Bern, contributing across the entire development lifecycle; from initial specifications and concept creation through to detail design and transfer into manufacturing. /ph3Role Description /h3pAs a Senior Project Engineer, you will design and develop mechanical and micromechanical solutions in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Beyond generating innovative concepts, you will be responsible for advancing ideas into mature designs by validating their feasibility through prototyping and testing. /ppIn this role, you will also engage regularly with suppliers and ensure clear and structured communication of technical progress and updates to the project manager. /ph3Specific Responsibilities /h3ulliParticipate in product development from design to implementationulliGenerate concepts for modules, complex systems and complete products in CAD, including detailed design of plastic and metal components, DFMEA, tolerance analysis, fundamental calculations and finite element analysis. /liliDesign, source, and test prototypes, including development of test fixtures, test protocols, and report creation. /liliContact and evaluate vendors and contractors and manage these relationships throughout the projects. /liliMonitor the status of all assignments and progress reports /li /ul /liliDevelop assembly and inspection fixtures to test product performance. /liliEnsure that medical products are manufactured within specification and organize corrective actions. /liliDevelop and implement production processes and define quality controls to meet the highest quality standards /li /ulh3Professional Qualifications /h3ulli5+ years of experience in the development and industrialization of medical devices is required /liliExperience with Solidworks or/and Creo is required, FEA, COMSOL, Moldex3D are strong plus /liliExperience with injection molded and metal components /liliTechnical experience in assembly processes is a plus /li /ulh3Personal Qualifications /h3ulliCreative with passion for technology, self-starter, strong analytical skills /liliHighly motivated and enthusiastic individual with good communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with cross functional team /liliCommitted to high-quality work /li /ulh3Languages /h3ulliExcellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English /li /ulh3Company Culture and Benefits /h3pInnovating a sustainable future!
