Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision Benefits start at 30 days. 401(k) Savings Plan with company match. Senior Program Manager – Logistics Startups Job Description: We are hiring a Senior Program Manager – Logistics Startups supporting startup operations for our Supply Chain Solutions division.
Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month Annual Salary Pay: $85,000 to $95,000 Annual Bonus: up to 10% of base salary Shift & Schedule: Flexibility needed to support any shift/schedule Travel: 80-90% Responsibilities Managing a group of non-interrelated programs aligned to a strategic goal and ensuring compliance with company/customer standards.
Providing regular and proactive communications to customers and Ryder Executive Management. Providing guidance, leadership, and coaching to assigned staff. Developing department goals to maintain optimum efficiency. Setting performance goals and providing input on performance metrics.
Implementing strategic policy when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Monitoring post-implementation customer expectations and standards. Interacting with multiple levels including Executive Management within Ryder and client organizations.
Acting independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Working on complex problems that require in-depth evaluation of various factors. Performing additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
Experience: 8+ years in relevant work experience; 5+ years in Project Management; 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced MS Project. Licenses: PMP Certification (1 year required); Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (1 year required).
Other: Project Management experience and certification required; startup warehouse operations leadership and knowledge of large DCs preferred. Discounted employee stock purchase options.
