Professional Overview
SPREAD is revolutionizing how the world's most complex products are engineered. Our AI-native platform provides automotive OEMs, defense primes, and industrial manufacturers with a singular source of product truth, empowering engineering teams to make rapid, confident decisions. Backed by leading investors and working with industry giants like Volkswagen, BMW, and Rheinmetall, we are at the forefront of engineering intelligence.
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Product Marketing Manager to own SPREAD's market positioning, messaging, and overall understanding among engineering leaders at enterprise accounts. In this pivotal, hands‑on role within a small, senior marketing team, you will translate our deeply technical product into compelling narratives that drive deals and arm our Sales team with critical competitive intelligence and enablement assets.
You will be the vital link between Product, Engineering, and Growth, leading go‑to‑market strategies for new releases and shaping thought leadership content for highly technical audiences. If you possess a unique blend of technical fluency, strategic vision, and a passion for turning complex solutions into clear value propositions for enterprise clients, this is an unparalleled opportunity to make a significant impact on our growth and market leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own SPREAD's platform positioning and messaging, transforming engineering intelligence into compelling value propositions that resonate with top engineering leaders.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive competitive intelligence across the PLM and engineering data landscape, translating insights into actionable battle cards and objection‑handling guides for the Sales team.
- Craft impactful sales enablement assets designed to shorten enterprise sales cycles and significantly improve win rates.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to strategize and execute go‑to‑market plans for all product releases, ensuring each launch is tied to measurable customer outcomes.
- Generate authoritative thought leadership content that builds credibility and engagement with deeply technical audiences.
- Partner with Growth and GTM Operations to refine campaign messaging and account targeting, ensuring demand generation efforts effectively address the right pain points.
- Act as a key representative for SPREAD at industry events and during customer conversations, engaging engineering leaders in peer‑level discussions about their domain.
Eligibility & Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B product marketing or technical product management for enterprise software or complex technical products, with direct ownership of positioning, messaging, and go‑to‑market strategies.
- Demonstrated technical fluency, evidenced by an engineering or technical degree, or extensive experience managing/marketing highly technical products. Ability to engage in credible conversations about data architectures, PLM tool landscapes, or software‑defined product development.
- Proven experience in building effective sales enablement resources for complex enterprise deals (e.g., €100K+ ACV, 6-12 month cycles, multi‑stakeholder buying committees).
- Strong competitive intelligence instincts, including tracking competitors, articulating differentiation in buyer‑centric language, and preparing sales teams for live objection handling.
- An AI‑native working style, utilizing AI tools daily for content creation, research, and workflow automation. SPREAD operates as an AI‑first company, and all team members are expected to align with this approach.
- Strong identity as a product marketer, with a proven ability to partner effectively with Product and Engineering teams.
