Senior Procurement Manager

About the RoleWe are supporting a rapidly expanding renewable energy business in the search for a Procurement Manager to strengthen its growing procurement function.

With an extensive pipeline of battery energy storage (BESS) projects across Europe, many of which are entering the contracting phase, the company is scaling its procurement capabilities to support delivery at pace. This role will play a key part in executing a structured and standardised procurement strategy, enabling projects to be delivered efficiently across multiple geographies.

Location: Germany (multiple locations) / RemoteKey ResponsibilitiesLead tender processes and negotiate framework agreements and project contracts for BESS projects across Germany and wider European marketsManage end-to-end procurement processes, from initiation through to contract executionAct as a central interface between procurement teams, technical specialists, project developers, and external contractorsCollaborate cross-functionally with teams including asset management, construction, finance, and origination to ensure alignment on technical and commercial requirementsWork closely with external legal and technical advisors to strengthen contractual outcomesConduct and manage due diligence processes related to supplier selection and contract awardSupport the development and expansion of a strong contractor base within Germany, particularly across electrical and Balance of Plant

(BoP) scopesBuild and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers and partnersMaintain procurement databases, including supplier evaluations, benchmarking, and market intelligenceCandidate ProfileApproximately 5+ years of experience in procurement or contract management, ideally within the energy or infrastructure sectorExperience working on CAPEX projects within renewable energy (e.g.
