At Roche, we offer a unique opportunity for a hands‑on NMR Expert within our Analytical Molecular Characterization group in the pRED-pCMC Analytical Chemistry division. Responsibilities Plan, run, and report NMR experiments for structure elucidation and inter‑ and intra‑molecular interaction studies.
Apply cutting‑edge analytics to support synthesis and formulation development, enabling fast progress and identifying potential challenges. Develop and implement new NMR experiments and contribute to future advancements of the NMR group.
Enhance scientific excellence by identifying relevant industry trends and building & maintaining academic partnerships. Contribute deep scientific insights to shape mid‑ and long‑term NMR strategy for the Roche portfolio.
Qualifications Masters (minimum 5 years) or PhD in analytical chemistry or related fields, with a minimum of 3 years professional experience in industry. Comprehensive knowledge of NMR analytics and a deep understanding of the theoretical basis beyond standard liquid and solid‑state NMR experiments.
Experience with other biophysical characterization methods is a plus. Hands‑on expertise in structure elucidation and interaction studies by NMR for synthetic oligonucleotides and/or peptides. Demonstrated expertise in higher‑order structure studies and aggregation studies.
