The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the T&D Lines CIMA+ Leadership Team, working on some of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects in Canada. Primary Responsibilities Lead a project design team, including junior and intermediate staff.
In this pivotal role, you'll leverage your expertise to deliver top-tier engineering, estimating, planning, and quality management services. Using your extensive engineering knowledge, you'll direct work on high‑complexity projects and operations, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to budget and timelines.
Your analytical acumen and leadership will drive engineering studies and designs, fostering innovation and excellence in every endeavor. Design overhead lines and associated facilities for voltages from 60kV to 735kV in an electric utility environment, including transmission towers, foundations and hardware and fittings.
Prepare project documentation like reports, specifications, proposals, estimates, design basis, and test plans per CIMA+’s practices. Lead and execute design work packages with scope, duration, and effort estimates, and manage design tasks including scope, schedule, and cost for existing and new facilities.
Provide signed/sealed engineering deliverables as a Professional of Record per EG
