The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development and validation of electronics and embedded solutions for telecommunication measurement systems. This position involves leading the design of microelectronic circuits, developing embedded firmware and ensuring the integration across hardware and software components.
Responsibilities Design and develop microelectronic circuits for telecom measurement equipment. Develop and optimize embedded firmware for STM32 microcontrollers using C/C++, with expertise in UART, Ethernet, and USB communication interfaces.
Perform schematic design, prototyping and laboratory testing to ensure product reliability and compliance with telecom industry standards. Lead design reviews and drive design improvements across hardware and firmware domains. Research and evaluate latest microelectronics and embedded technologies relevant to telecom measurement systems.
Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, verification procedures and detailed engineering reports. Your profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in microelectronics and embedded system design.
Proven expertise in embedded firmware development using C/C++ on STM32 or similar ARM-based microcontrollers. Hands‑on experience with communication interfaces such as UART, Ethernet and USB. Solid knowledge in circuit design, PCB layout design and hardware debugging. Proficiency with electronic design in CAD tools (e.g. KiCAD, Eagle).
Familiarity with RF systems, telecom interfaces (e.g., LTE, 5G, Wi‑Fi), and signal processing is a strong plus. Experience in laboratory testing, prototyping and performance optimization of embedded systems. Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken), German is a plus.
