We are looking for a Senior Medical Imaging Scientist to join our Ultrasound team and help develop the next generation of image-guided intervention technologies.
Your responsibilities
- Develop algorithms for real-time interventional imaging
- Work on image segmentation, registration, reconstruction, and image fusion
- Apply and develop AI methods for medical imaging applications
- Contribute to our C++ and
- Python software framework
- Lead technical work packages and contribute to project planning and execution
- Collaborate directly with industry customers and research partners
- Help transform research prototypes into commercial products
- Publish scientific results and present your work at conferences The position is based in Munich
- Some project phases require on-site work with hardware in our lab; otherwise, remote work is possible
Your profile
PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field Strong C++ and Python skills Experience in medical image computing Knowledge of CT, MRI, Ultrasound, or related imaging modalities Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch Strong problem-solving and communication skills Nice to have: Experience with ultrasound signal processing, beamforming, image-guided interventions, or surgical navigation.
