You will lead a team of hearing performance engineers and Functional Experts and take end-to-end ownership of translating cutting-edge algorithmic innovation into measurable end-user benefit and outstanding sound experiences. /ppWorking at the intersection of audiology, signal processing, deep learning and system integration, you will turn strategy into execution, guide innovation from early concepts through to productization, and bring together experts across RD and Marketing.

In return for your engineering expertise, strategic thinking and leadership, you will have the opportunity to influence the future of hearing performance at scale and make a meaningful difference to millions of people worldwide. /p pbMore about the role /b /p liOwn and drive the end-to-end hearing performance of Sonova’s algorithmic innovations, ensuring industry-leading end-user benefit and outstanding sound experience. /li liLead, develop and empower a team of hearing performance engineers, creating clear priorities, strong ownership and a culture of technical excellence. /li liShape new hearing functions, algorithms and features from early ideation and prototyping through development, verification and productization. /li liDrive evidence-based decisions by leading technical measurements, performance evaluations and testing, while identifying key performance gaps and opportunities for differentiation. /li liPartner closely with Signal Processing, Deep Learning, Audiological Innovation, Controller Software, Marketing and other RD domains to translate innovation into high-performing products. /li liTranslate strategy and functional roadmaps into clear, achievable team objectives, balancing innovation, end-user benefit, quality, scalability, resources and timelines. /li liContinuously advance development practices, tools and infrastructure, including the use of AI technologies, while ensuring compliance with RD processes, quality standards and regulatory expectations. /li pbMore about you /b /p liAdvanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Electrical Engineerig, Physics, , Acoustics, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related scientific or technical discipline. /li liAt least 5 years of relevant experience in sound processing, engineering, or MedTech RD, combined with significant senior technical or functional leadership experience. /li liProven track record of leading people, complex technical delivery and cross-functional collaboration in an international, multi-site environment. /li liAbility to connect scientific and technical expertise with user needs and business priorities. /li liStrategic and analytical mindset with the confidence to make decisions, manage trade-offs and create clarity in complex or uncertain environments. /li liCollaborative and empowering leadership style, with strong communication skills and a passion for developing people, building capabilities and driving technological change. /li liFluent English; German and experience with medical device regulations, validation frameworks or data-driven development environments are an advantage. /li pbMore about what we offer /b /p pAs one of the world’s leading hearing care providers headquartered in Switzerland, we’re committed to building an inclusive culture. pAs Senior Manager Hearing Performance, you will shape how Sonova’s next generation of hearing instruments perform and sound in the real world.
