Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role

• Develop and drive the global category strategy for Facility Management Services, leveraging market insights, supplier segmentation, and strategic sourcing initiatives to deliver business value.
• Lead global and regional sourcing projects, including tenders, e-Auctions, and contract negotiations, while securing optimal commercial and contractual conditions.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to harmonize service scopes, performance standards, and governance frameworks, driving efficiency and operational excellence.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships, lead executive business reviews, and continuously improve supplier performance, innovation, and sustainability outcomes.
• Monitor market trends, cost drivers, and industry developments to create sourcing strategies, forecast risks and opportunities, and support business planning.
• Drive supplier innovation and sustainability initiatives, including digital solutions, automation, responsible sourcing, and environmental impact reduction.
• Lead a global cross-functional category team, align regional and site procurement activities, and deliver measurable results through savings, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.

Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic procurement, category management, or senior purchasing roles, ideally within Facility Management, Building Services, or other indirect service categories.
• Proven experience in leading complex international tenders and negotiating large-scale service contracts, including performance-based commercial models and KPI-driven service frameworks.
• Strong understanding of the Facility Management market, including soft and hard services, security, and integrated FM solutions; experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, or high-tech environments is an advantage.
• Advanced commercial, negotiation, and contract-management skills, combined with strong analytical capabilities in spend analysis, cost modeling, and total cost of ownership evaluation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and multicultural teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive results in a matrix organization.
• Procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS or CPSM), experience with SAP and e-Sourcing platforms, and familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards are considered a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required to support global procurement activities and stakeholder engagement (approx. 30% of working time).
• Business-fluent English skills, both written and spoken; additional language skills, particularly German, are considered a plus.
