Senior Lead Engineer – Roche About the Role The Senior Lead Engineer will lead the end‑to‑end algorithm lifecycle—from development through validation and regulatory‑ready deployment—ensuring alignment with GxP, SaMD, and Imaging Governance frameworks.
Acting as the single point of accountability across gRED, pRED, PD, RDT, and RIS, the role delivers scalable analytical platform capabilities, promotes automation, and ensures quality, documentation, and compliance standards are consistently applied.
The position drives vision, strategy, and execution of the imaging algorithm ecosystem, enabling faster, reproducible, and compliant development and deployment across research and clinical domains.
Responsibilities include defining tasks for others, driving medium to large‑scale initiatives, coaching engineers, negotiating with stakeholders, and providing direction for mid‑to‑long‑term goals. The engineer will actively contribute to technical knowledge, inspire innovation, and lead the design of complex, multi‑service, multi‑modal solutions.
They are expected to promote architectural consistency, drive technical strategy for major components, and mentor senior engineers to ensure high standards of engineering quality.
