You will be responsible for the overall performance, development, and market positioning of Swiss Re across your client base, ensuring consistent and high-quality delivery across Core reinsurance, solutions, transactions, and value‑added services. /p pOperating in a collaborative matrix environment, you will work closely with Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, Technical Accounting, Reserving, Solutions, and Transactions teams, while maintaining clear ownership of client outcomes. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul libOwn the client relationship end-to-end: /b Serve as the central point of contact for your LH clients in Italy, ensuring seamless communication and consistently high-quality service delivery /li libDevelop and execute growth strategies: /b Identify and implement opportunities for existing and prospective clients, leveraging actuarial expertise in pricing, product development, and portfolio steering /li libDrive pricing and profitability analysis: /b Work cross-functionally and directly with clients to bprice and analyse the profitability /b of life reinsurance treaties, supporting the development and pricing of new life insurance products /li libMonitor portfolio performance: /b Analyse emerging claims experience and steer portfolio outcomes through data-driven insights and proactive management /li libBuild trusted, long-term client relationships: /b Position Swiss Re as the bleading and preferred reinsurance partner /b in the Italian market through strategic engagement and professional credibility /li libManage client relationships holistically: /b Oversee the bfinancial performance of in‑force portfolios /b and evaluate and structure new business opportunities /li libExpand market presence: /b Build and maintain a strong professional network within the Italian insurance market to identify and execute opportunities across Swiss Re's strategic pillars – Core, Solutions, and Transactions /li libRepresent Swiss Re externally: /b Act as a credible btechnical ambassador /b at client meetings, industry events, conferences, and professional forums /li /ul h3About the Team /h3 pYou will join a dynamic and highly motivated team committed to delivering outstanding results and shaping the future of Swiss Re's business.

As part of the bContinental Europe South LH hub /b, you will work within a connected continental European and global LH network. Your focus lies on pricing, portfolio steering, and economic risk assessment.

You are comfortable engaging with clients, building partnerships, and leveraging analytical skills to drive profitable growth and deliver measurable results.

You bring a collaborative mindset, a proactive approach, and the ability to navigate complex, multi‑stakeholder environments with confidence. /p h3Requirements /h3 ul libMinimum 10 years of experience /b in the Italian LH (re‑) insurance industry /li libStrong actuarial background /b with relevant qualifications (e.g., Ordine Nazionale degli Attuari or equivalent actuarial certification), including hands‑on experience in bpricing and product development /b /li libFluent Italian and English /b communication skills, both written and verbal /li liProven ability to work in bclient-facing or commercially accountable roles /b within the insurance or reinsurance sector /li libSolid understanding of local GAAP / IFRS /b and regulatory frameworks, including Solvency II and the IVASS context /li /ul h3Nice to haves /h3 ul liDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a bmatrix or cross‑functional environment /b /li liEstablished and active bprofessional network /b within the Italian Life Health insurance industry /li liExperience presenting at bindustry events or conferences /b as a subject matter expert /li liExperience structuring or evaluating breinsurance transactions and solutions /b beyond traditional treaty business /li /ul pFor Switzerland, the base salary range for this position is between 132,000 CHF and 198,000 CHF for a full‑time role. /p ul liThe requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role /li liThe applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience /li /ul pIn the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.
