Value pragmatism over purity. You can tell the difference between "good enough for now" and "this will hurt us later." And you bring hands-on experience with: Java and its ecosystem, with solid fundamentals in testing, version control, CI/CD, and how software runs in production.

Some of the tools we use day-to-day (Spring, Maven or Gradle, SQL, GitLab) knowing the rest can be picked up on the job.
