Senior International Standards Manager (all genders) — Product Compliance
Join us as a (Senior) International Standards Manager in our Product & Regulatory Compliance team and help shape the future of autonomous mobility.
Your role at MOIA
As (Senior) International Standards Manager, you will define and implement our standardization strategy and ensure standards compliance throughout the product lifecycle for the autonomous ID. Buzz and all related systems.
Responsibilities
- Set a standardization strategy: develop a coordinated company-wide strategy for MOIA’s engagement with SDOs (including ISO, IEEE, ETSI, and SAE) with clear goals, engagement levels, and governance processes.
- Act as an internal/external medium: serve as the primary liaison between MOIA’s internal practices and external SDOs, consolidating internal consensus and assessing alignment or differences.
- Run internal training: develop and implement internal training programs that align engineering, product, and cross‑functional teams with external standardization landscapes, compliance goals, and MOIA’s internal policies.
- Shape the industry: strategically prioritize MOIA’s participation in working groups to influence consensus and advance autonomous mobility while maintaining necessary flexibility.
- Cross‑functional coordination: collaborate closely with engineering, safety, legal, and regulatory groups to establish platforms for critiquing perspectives and consolidating a consistent position on key topics.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience engaging with and participating in Standards Development Organizations (e.g., ISO, IEEE, SAE, CEN/CENELEC, ETSI), including specific TC/SC experience.
- Proven track record of developing and setting corporate strategy for standardization engagement within a highly technical or safety‑critical domain.
- Demonstrated ability to build consensus, translate complex external requirements into actionable internal policies, and serve as a medium between technical teams and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to represent the company publicly, navigate ambiguity, and maintain poise in committee settings.
- Business fluent in English and German.
