D365 F&O Senior Finance Functional Consultant

• Location: Remote with some occasional travel on-site in various locations

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Finance Consultant the implementation of D365, working on a variety of exciting projects.

The ideal candidate will have completed a university degree or vocational qualification in Business Administration or Business Information Systems and strong functional expertise in ERP consulting or as a key user, with a focus on finance and the internal optimisation of system landscapes.

In this role, you will work closely with finance stakeholders, business users, project managers, and technical teams to understand business requirements, design effective finance solutions, configure the system, and support the implementation lifecycle from requirements gathering through go-live and post-implementation support.

Roles and responsibilities

• Several years of experience in ERP consulting or as a key user, with a focus on finance and the internal optimisation of system landscapes.
• Very good knowledge of financial processes and the relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Extensive experience in finance and the ability to contribute valuable insights.
• Focusing primarily on commercial business functions, particularly financial accounting and controlling.
• Supporting existing customers with further optimisation following the successful implementation of their ERP systems.
• Developing appropriate solution concepts to meet customer-specific requirements and customisation needs.
• Delivering training to key users in their respective areas of work.
• Conducting requirements analyses, customer meetings, workshops and presentations.
