As Group Senior Expert Fill & Finish , you will play a key role in a strategic international greenfield project.

Your main tasks and responsibilities Act as a Subject Matter Expert specializing in aseptic processes, including aseptic filling and stoppering, freeze‑drying, capping, RABS/isolator technology, material preparation (cleaning and sterilization), primary packaging materials, and single‑use systems Lead and contribute to strategic corporate initiatives supporting business objectives, including the development of a new plant Implement decisions and strategies set by the Board, and assess, review, and approve relevant corporate documents Represent Octapharma in interactions with external organizations and suppliers Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory standards (GMP for sterile drug products), and emerging technologies through benchmarking with pharmaceutical companies and suppliers Foster strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams and international partners to drive continuous improvement and innovation Your expertise and ideal skill set University degree in Biotechnology, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in sterile product manufacturing Practical experience with aseptic processes is highly desirable Project management or leadership experience is a plus Proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus Analytical and goal‑oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality and efficiency, combined with excellent collaboration skills in multicultural and international team environments Willingness to travel frequently to other Octapharma sites in Europe and globally, as well as to suppliers Your department – where you make an impact Group Fill & Finish is part of the Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) department.

The MSAT department supports production by providing scientific and technical expertise, optimizing processes, and ensuring that manufacturing runs efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
