Senior Ethics & Compliance Manager, EMEA Responsible for the Compliance program in EMEA for the Pall operating company within Danaher’s Life Sciences Platform. Develops, fosters, and sustains a sound Integrity and Compliance culture and leads, embeds, and strengthens the Compliance Program.
Implements an effective Compliance Program designed to ensure compliance with anti‑corruption and other laws, regulations and industry best practices, promoting ethical and appropriate behaviour among employees and preventing and detecting misconduct.
Responsibilities Review and advise on business activities and strategies and support implementation of Compliance systems, processes and controls. Modify, update, and implement Compliance policies and procedures, and design and conduct ongoing Compliance training for associates.
Conduct compliance risk assessments and develop risk management strategies and implement internal design controls to mitigate business risks, including third‑party/distributor risk management.
Conduct regular compliance auditing and monitoring to assess the effectiveness of compliance systems, processes, and controls, and implement any required remedial actions. Promote Danaher’s Code of Conduct, core values, Speak Up program, conduct investigations and oversee implementation of related corrective actions.
Partner with the Life Sciences Platform Privacy Lead and the Global Compliance Director to support the implementation and maintenance of the Pall privacy program. Provide guidance on GDPR matters, facilitate the internal DSAR process, complete privacy impact assessments, and lead the data privacy steering committee.
Qualifications 5+ years of Compliance experience in the relevant risk areas within the life science/healthcare industries, or a similarly highly regulated industry.
Business‑minded, risk conscious, proactive, solutions‑oriented, and self‑motivated professional, able to explain complex compliance points to the business and address concerns to develop and execute compliance strategies. Strong written and oral communication skills with a wide variety of audiences.
Fluency in English and preferably fluency in another language spoken in the EMEA region. Travel & Physical/Environment Requirements Willingness to travel (~10%) and to visit sites within the region on a regular basis.
Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of Compliance experience in the relevant risk areas within the life science/healthcare industries, or a similarly highly regulated industry. CCEP‑I or similar compliance or risk management certification; CIPP/E certification.
In‑depth knowledge of GDPR and hands‑on experience in data protection, particularly in developing and implementing a privacy program. Position is fully remote within the EMEA region. #J-18808-Ljbffr
