You drive the technical transformation within the customer‑delivery organization: standardizing architecture practices, introducing modern cloud and SaaS patterns, and enabling delivery teams. Deep understanding of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP), SaaS delivery models, and modern integration patterns (REST, event‑driven, microservices).

Responsibilities You are responsible for the overall technical architecture across the entire customer lifecycle — from the presales phase to a successful go‑live. You act as the central interface between our insurance clients and the EMIL Insurance Suite: you collaborate with customers to develop viable end‑to‑end (E2E) architectures.

You serve as a mentor and technical anchor for Solution Architects and Customer Delivery Managers throughout the project lifecycle. You document architectural decisions, requirements, and technical concepts, ensuring sustainable knowledge embedding within the customer‑delivery organization.

You are responsible for technical communication with all stakeholders — both internal and external — and keep all parties consistently informed. Qualifications At least 8–10 years of experience as an Enterprise Architect, including several years in the insurance industry or in a consulting firm with an insurance focus.

Fluent, negotiation‑level communication skills in German (C2 / native) and English (very good, C1), both written and spoken, are mandatory — French is a plus. You are comfortable in German‑ and English‑language C‑level discussions and can influence decision‑makers on equal footing.

Ability to build strong, trust‑based relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels — from developers to board members. Strong hands‑on mentality: you maintain attention to technical details even when working at a strategic level.

Experience with APIs, BPMN, SaaS platforms, AWS technologies, requirements engineering, and the insurance domain is a clear plus. Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate) and certifications in cloud or architecture are advantageous.

You are familiar with dynamic work environments; agile project management methods are not new to you. Consulting experience (Big Four, tier‑1 consulting) is a strong plus. Approximately 20–30% travel willingness within Germany and Switzerland. #J-18808-Ljbffr
